DIAGNOSTIC PROTOCOL
First Consultation and Medical Evaluation
Assisted reproductive treatments are defined as the set of clinical and laboratory procedures that aim to achieve fertilization when it has not been achieved by natural means, i.e., they assist or facilitate the work of the egg and sperm to achieve fertilization as well as the arrival of the embryo in the uterine cavity.
These treatments can be simple or complex (low and high complexity).
The choice of treatment depends on the diagnosis of each couple, always seeking the technique that provides the highest success rate.
If you have a partner, it is necessary for him or her to accompany you so that we can discuss together and address all your questions.
During this session, we will perform an endovaginal ultrasound to assess your internal condition and inform you of the steps to follow.
If necessary, we will ask you to undergo some tests to determine if you are a candidate for any of the fertility treatments.
After these studies, we will ask you to schedule a second appointment to interpret them and recommend the treatment to follow.
